(From MTV) While they work on the follow-up to 2000's Vapor Transmission, Orgy are prepping a still-untitled live album to accompany a live DVD slated for release in early 2003. In-concert performances of songs such as "History" and the New Order cover "Blue Monday" will be mixed with a few new studio tracks on the album. ... Not too much of a news update...I've heard from a reliable source that the expected date for Orgy's new album is in October. The D1 Renegade Radio Network Pre launch was today with an interview of

Here's the updates from VT: During April, the band finalized lyrics and laid tracks on more than a dozen new songs, and are now beginning work on a new set of songs to be completed in the next month or so. The songs and lyrics are getting tremendous reviews, so everyone in the band is really excited to finish the CD and eager to get back out on the road behind a new album. Amir, Ryan, Paige, and Bobby have all been hard at work in the studio, laying tracks for the new album, and getting itchy to go back out on the road and play their new music for the fans. They have also been working on side projects in and out of music as time permits.
In May, look for the first in a series of interviews featuring Jay Gordon and the rest of Orgys members, discussing the new album, what theyve been up to since they stopped touring, their favorite fan sites, making Orgy music, and more. A merge between Orgy-Music and Vapor Transmission is in the works, as the band prepares to release its next album. As we merge the two over the next couple of months, prepare for new Orgy sounds, a new Orgy look, a new Orgy BBS, updated links to Orgy songs, video clips and other features on the band, including exclusive band merchandise, ticket pre-sales, and more

(Taken from Support Orgy) Jay's label Division 1 is preparing to launch a resource website for musicians, songwriters and music lovers. The site will charge a small membership fee with proceeds used to produce demo's for bands. They will also have lots of online chats with famous musicians and producers. There will be tons of contests with some awesome prizes for members. Join the mailing list (found on the main page of this site) for the latest news about D1. Also, on Orgybanana's site, she has a clip of Orgy's song "The Obvious" which will be featured on the new album. On April 11th, it is Ryan's birthday. He will be 29!

(Taken from Support Orgy) There is a small article with a picture of Ryan (they call him Jay though) about the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack in May's issue of Metal Edge (on sale now). Bobby is also in the magazine under "Metal Edge Asks". He says "My Dad passed away about 10 years ago and he never understood what I was doing., especially because he played piano. Now he could see my hard work paid off." When asked "If you could bring one person back from the dead who would it be?" Also, check back soon for news about Jay's Division 1
